Sunny Days

Oh joy, it has stopped raining for several days now, but it is April in New England and it will return. Wouldn’t this little nook- like- entrance be a lovely spot to hang up your raincoat when you enter, especially a pink one! Those striking damask boxes are a perfect place to tuck away the mail, and it Looks like Mary Poppins arrived for tea and placed her umbrella to dry…

I wish my clutter could look this pretty. Right now my entry has several Transformers standing by the door waiting to greet visitors. My four-year old's idea of decorating is very different from mine.

What a charming entry way! Your home is lovely. I just love New England salt box architecture. I enjoyed the story about your good looking parents too!

I love the shade of gray on the walls. Do you know the color or how I could possibly find something like it?

Thanks for the nice comment, Benjamin Moore color # Ac-2 Berkshire beige- it's like a taupe mixed with a khaki.
