Soap Dispenser Revealed

Summer flowers always dress up my guest bathroom with just the right amount of color.

Blue hydrangeas, correopsis, beach roses and a butterfly bush's blossom happily adorn a handmade stone
countertop. Do you remember a post awhile about my inability to select a soap dispenser for my guest bathroom?

Yes, I finally selected one, do you like it?

I like the way the dispenser compliments the antique pitcher and bowl my mother gave me, but it is new so functions well...

Yeah, I think the room might finally be done...

Well, not really. Decorating any room is never finished, isn't that the fun of it?

Paris duo!

Krumpet & I dream of returning soon to Paris. Just had new passport pics taken, the 1st step correct?
Do you find that you did not like your current passport photo until you get a new one, then you want the old one back?

Well, Krumpet did not really accompany me when I have visited France,
 but this time, he will!
Cafes galore on the schedule, a bowl of water for le chein, merci.

Naturally we will EAT CAKE!
and wear scarves!
thanks for visiting!

Sunlight and color

Shopping in Paris part two

I know just where I would love to go again in Paris...

where I want to dine...

with someone very special...

how I would dine...

and what I would select...

always prepared for a day, at least,
for casual shopping...

and what I would purchase.

More elegant shopping,
wait, what in Paris is not elegant?

a splurge of a lifetime...

my retreat at the end of a Paris pink day, and coming back to the apartment with
more drawings to add to the wall that I sketched that day....

Ready to go?

lovely...

It would be so magnificent to tell you that I am in France
and a moment ago took this photograph.
This amazing balcony has the most astonishing detail and is so inviting
I feel like I am there, don't you?

However, I write this happily, from the homestead.
Next post will be more of the Garden wedding. Enjoy...

English Garden Wedding

There is going to be an
ENGLISH GARDEN WEDDING
and not only am I invited
but I am so blessed
to also be the
WEDDING PLANNER!

so to look my best I have chosen this great vintage hat for myself,
at Stella Designs, you see
this is my client's daughter's wedding, and has I had the privilege
to decorate their house and the grounds...

They also asked me to plan the wedding.
In fact the color scheme is similar to their living room below that I designed...

Think 1920's Art Deco, English Garden, a touch of French, meets young Great Gatsby's soiree in Newport, Rhode Island. I just love the William Morris English wallpaper with the curvy Swedish clock and custom made furniture...

My Party dress is picked, my shoes selected. Can you picture me around my house practicing
walking in these?

I'll take plenty of pictures and post them.
Thanks...

Westminster Dog Show tonight

Hello,
To those of you that are reading this letter, I would like to apologize for the mess I made.

Maybe I did get a bit sloppy...
But, it was my debut on Westminster Dog Show tonight, and I had a lot of friends watching....

I hope you had a lovely VALENTINES' DAY. Remember it is on again tonight. Yes, Krumpet, the yorkie shown last night is not as cute as you!
Thank you,
~^-'~**
