Vanity Clues

Atop her vanity a jewelry box overflows with mementos and memories; a violin pin her son gave her, a Mother pin she had given her Mom, a stain glass mirror from my friend Lisa and my favorite photo of my twin brother (on the left) and me ~tucked in the corner. Have I mentioned I love leopard?

Can a vanity top or jewelry box reveal something about a person? I think mine says I love vintage and pink, but you knew that by my blog. Nothing valuable, enjoy my baubles...
What does yours say about you?

Love seeing your vanity mementos. I've thought of this post also. I think it says alot about a woman's personality, just like furnishings and clothing. Your vintage pins are beautiful!

I have some of my Grandmother's jewelry and it still has a slight scent of her perfume. Every time I open my jewelry box, I get a lovely reminder of her! Great blog, as always!

Mine would show a huge mixture of colour and style. It's not that I can't make my mind up, it's just that I see something good in everything.

Oh my, I shudder to think! There is a pitiful, odd little broken assortment left in my jewlery boxes. I've taken to displaying my fav jewelery on my walls. I have a "pin hanging" and a grate of necklaces and earrings on the wall...not much left in my old boxes.
You've got some lovely brooches!!

My jewelry box is a collage of memories from childhood, special places we have traveled to and important events. I love your soft colored pins all nestled together like best friends!

I love the idea of a jewelry box as a glimpse of a personality, a person.
