Work Space Wednesday I

I have decided to start a post named Work Space Wednesday. My thoughts are that if you have to work, why not make your environment as interesting as possible? Here, a textile artist has a great worktable, a cool bin on rollers to toss fabrics into and storage bins to store supplies, all in the corner of a room!
Where ever your work space is, have a beautiful mid week day...

I love this! And I love the idea of having a sort of hamper to throw my fabrics in...I try to organize fabric in bins but before i know it they are strewn about the floor... (i am a very messy worker hehe)

Having a workspace that reflects your own personality and likes can be much more productive than just a utilitarian space. Since I've had my "room" aka "studio" decorated it's become a place for inspiration, not just a place to do a task.
Great idea, Karen.

I love to see other peoples workspaces but how do they manage to make them look so orderly and sensible. I am about to swap my work area for a smaller space but I have so much stuff. Perhaps it will help me focus on what I actually need out.

My sister told me about your blog. I really enjoyed my visit here. I just setup my office space at home, and I enjoy it so much!

Hello to you and Krumpet,
I have two Yorkies, Winston Wiggins Warner or (Dubya) and his soul mate Sasparilla. They wanted to say hello. Barkity Bark!

I like your idea on workspace Wednesday, but I must say I have a space that has no potential. I am an artist and cannot stand messes in my home... like an easel and roll around table with paints in my dining room. Yuk. So I will be watching in hopes for a future place to call my own so bring on the inspirational ideas.

It's a great use of space, also. It turns a simple corner of your room into a light, bright office. The set up is simply beautiful.

Your blog has been inspirational to me. Someday I hope to blog about the August 2009 remodel of my workspace.
