vintage barns~ White Wednesday

I love vintage barns and I love weddings.
What it is about an old crumbly barn
and new vows of a wedding that go so well together?

Crackling paint mixed with the perfect amount of rust create a

wonderful barn door in my town of Somerset, Massachusetts.

You may remember a post where my twin brother was married
in a gorgeous barn converted into a restaurant.
I always loved barns but more so with the Brayton Homestead,
circa 1796, that had a barn~ long since gone...

and thank you FabricatedFamily
for including my Moroccan slippers in your etsy treasury.

and this is my first time participating in Faded Charm's White Wednesday.

Those slippers remind me of the ones from the movie "Everlasting" The Cinderella in her WHITE GOWN and slippers.

I grew up with a huge old barn on our property and they have always captivated me. Love the patina of the paint and rustic hardware. Great images, Karen. Hope you're having a wonderful summer!

That does sound like a nice combo, and what a nice barn in your town.
