my black and white etchings

Sharing a pair of my etchings.

a self portrait in an antique silver hand mirror- hand drawn, etched, then printed on white and black papers. Cannot decide which one I prefer so I think I will frame them together in the same frame with 2 mat openings. Any suggestions?

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. I took this precious little girl's photo a couple of weekends ago at the Bristol R.I. Quahog Festival. With her mother's permission of course, is she not adorable?

I plan to wear many hats this weekend

and a pretty dress too!

the library with a wonderful ceramic dog given to me... 

he rests nicely under an old cloche.

back drop is an old ceiling tin 

snuggled with a paperweight collection

new use for old suitcase

A vintage suitcase transforms into the perfect container for red and white petunias.

It was so Simple and Fun, you have to try it!

just put the potted plant into the suitcase. You could fill with moss if you wish.

travel in style

A perfect weekend to pack up the car with vintage picnic baskets laden with delictable goodies for a luscious picnic. For me that would also include taking Krumpet, my yorkie, with me. Adoring these custom made car seat covers,  love to try to make some. Not to worry Krump, I could wash them!  Imagine this lovely pocket on the dash filled with wild roses; so reminiscent of Magnolia Pearl's car.

went to a Polo match!

I attended my 1st polo match for my birthday this weekend

 at the Glen Farms in Newport, RI.

It was all that I thought it would be, grand!

perfect table seating next to the action

yes, of course I wore a hat!

and felt like a princess.

cannot wait to go again...

a new baby in the family...

my nephew and his wife are expecting their 1st child,
