TRAVEL MEMORIES: ROOSTERS IN PARIS

While shopping during my last trip to Paris
I took this shot from outside a chocolate shop...

upon entering what I can only describe as chocolate heaven,
I spotted the pigeons outside and remember thinking all the birds
looked like friends. Thought these pics would be perfect for the

There are roosters in the yard at the  homestead,
looking quite French to me

and roosters on my handpainted kitchen floor

Thanks for visiting.

French roosters, how wonderful! Yes the chocolate shops there are overwhelming but some how I seem to handle it!

Karen, this is my first time to your blog, and I loved seeing those sites of Paris and of your home.

I am dropping by from Shelia's blog party, and I wanted to be sure and wish you a great day!

Cockadoodledoo... not sure how to translate that in French, but I think "chickenspeak" is an international language! ;-)

XO,

Sheila :-)

I love the photo of the rooster and chicken in the chocolate store window looking like they want to go out and play with the pidgeon out on the street. Thanks for sharing that and your other photos.

Hi Karen Sweetie...
Love view from the chocolate store out on to the streets where the pigeons were proudly strutting. I love this view. Your floor that you painstakingly painted is gorgeous as well. I love that checked look and how pretty does your rooster and watering can look sitting there. I love it.

I love that rock wall that has the roses draping over it. That is so Country. LOVE it. Thank you for taking me along on this beautiful tour. It touched my very soul.

This is the Miracle Weekend makeover. I am one of the hosting sites. For every comment left, Guideposts magazine will pay a dollar, to the next cancer makeover patient. Please stop by and read the story about 9 year old Charlie, and bless me with a comment. Out goal between the 4 or 5 blogs is 5,000. I know we can do it. I would appreciate it, if you pass the word around to as many friends as possible.

Thank you sweetie for a wonderful post. I love it. Have a glorious weekend. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry
