On Pointe

She tires after a long ‘On Pointe’ ballet session, her dance studio located in a marvelous Art Nouveau building in Paris. After so many pirouettes on the antique oak floor she wonders how many ballerinas must have danced on it before her to achieve such a perfectly worn patina…
