my Easter decorating




Simple and Easy
is my holiday decorating style this year~
a lamb cake mold with a jaunty check bow tie
and the hand quilted eggs I made.

Dear Karen,
How beautiful! My mom used to make a white lamb cake with coconut every Easter with this exact lamb pan!! One year we made several and took them to all the neighbors. We died the coconut green to put the lamb on and put Easter eggs all around her... Thank you for these special beautiful memories~~ Happy Easter to you!!

I have tears..many memories of my mom making the lamb cake..except I hated coconut as a kid and that is what she used over the vanilla icing.to make it look like fur.....what a great post..
