Indian Summer

What happened to summer? It swam by so quickly...

I love the idea of hot cocoa and warm apple cider...

but not quite yet,
was wishing for an Indian Summer...

seems I just took this weathervane pic on Martha's Vineyard

and put out the sea shells I gathered on the beach there...
(my back door)

the Homestead is still dressed for summer...

but will be dressed for Fall soon.
Thanks for visiting.

Oooh,I am so ready for Fall! I love Indian Summer (which just happens to be the name of my sister's beautiful online Native American shop too!)... Indian Summer doesn't start here until late fall... I did a post describing what it means in Native American last fall...I get sooo excited this time of year for all the beauty in Nature's bounty... looking so forward to the party... lots of ladies have signed up Barn Chick Queen! Look what you started! Love it!... xoxo Julie Marie

Karen,
I'll take fall over summer in almost every instance! I'm downright giddy at the prospect of the changes in temps and attitudes!
Looking forward to a look at your ideas!

The fish weathervane is so unusual. It also looks huge! Thank you for sharing it.
