HUMPTY DUMPTY sat on a wall
and this HUMPTY DUMPTY was handmade by me. Every year at this time, right after Valentine's Day, I start to work on my Humpty Dumpty dolls. Well, maybe more of a toy~ decoration. I sew them up with muslin, stuff , paint and then draw directly on the fabric egg with permanent marker. .
I have made him (or her) to order for family and friends and is always my favorite baby gift to give (sometimes lighty hand painted with pink or blue).
I have had him copyrighted, as many projects are planned for his future (not scrambled eggs). This inspiration, this love of Humpty all started when my Mom quilted my twin brother and I each a Humpty Dumpty when we were born...
thanks,
Karen

This is so cute!
Karen, I was just thinking about a Humpty Dumpty pillow I had as a child and wondering where it got to. It was similar to yours and I loved it! Yours is wonderful, and what a special gift to give to a new baby! I imagine that that is when I received mine too, right after I was born!
