Soon I will be a Mother in Law! yes, a very lucky one indeed! 

My son, my only child,  Doyle

 asked his lovely girlfriend  Ivy

for her hand in marriage last year and the wedding is 8 months soon!

everyone says how fast it goes by, how quickly they grow,

it is so very true

loved every moment and now even more wonderful times...

such blessings to treasure...

I did and what fun!

and what fun taking pics of my crazy mannequin. Not enough light inside so I carried it outside.

Collecting dress forms have become increasingly difficult to find, and I love them.

An expandable mannequin comes in handy when altering garments, here it has been relegated to holding my pins. Many will be available at the Brayton Cottage shop.

Krumpet enjoyed the photo fun as well!

Only a few days left before my shop

Graffiti at local mills in Fall River, MA,

you might have heard of Fall River as the home of the infamous Lizzie Borden murders,

well the city is also know as a huge center of manufacturing textiles, full of so cool old mills,

on a stroll around some of the old brick buildings I happened upon this great Graffiti painting!

it reminded me of the pic for my new shop's HANDMADE section

coming soon- within the week- was delayed this week
