Santa are you listening?

Hi Santa,
It's me Karen. I just wanted to tell you that I have been a very good girl this year...

I tried to make your job of gift giving very easy for you this year.

Here are my favorite things all together in these treasuries  I made on Etsy.
Thank you,
Karen

Etsy is the perfect place to shop for Christmas, and make your own wish list.
For me that means always hats, jewelry, vintage oddities~ usually in pinks, grays and tans...

make memories...

waiting for your latest destination plans, memories of
a vintage parade float. a vintage bike basket interwoven with faded blossoms.
had it once carried warm baguettes from the French patisserie?
will it now transport cheeses to a Fourth of July picnic?

enjoy your holiday and make wonderful memories....

eggs in one basket

enjoy a summer collage to celebrate a joyous
SUMMER DAY

is there anything more quintessentially summer than
birds and nests?
here is my attempt at creating a bird's nest for a jewelry photo shoot...

so longing for a bike basket like this one to nestle my Krumpet in as
we are bike riding...
Happy Summer...

Which to choose?

Can you help me choose which liquid soap dispenser for my
guest bath,
PLEASE...

I posted on this bath a bit back, but have been indecisive about accessories
yes, an interior designers to get stumped!

Should I go for whimsy like this mustache choice?

Would a French inspired  fixture compliment my statue?
I do not always have the vase of flowers in the room, sometimes it is a large ceramic
bowl filled with big square French soaps...

perhaps the dispenser made with an old mason jar
in the 1st pic would repeat the
 glass element in the bathroom?

what you cannot see is the flooring is a new, reproduction tile...
what do you prefer?
I would love to hear your choice,
thanks,
Karen

Nature's Inspiration

I am inspired by nature. While on a leisurely walk I discovered a pair of acorn caps that were connected to each other. Instantly I thought about the fact that I was a twin, and stashed them in my pocket. It's portrait now hangs on my living room bookshelves among vintage books...

My medium of choice is a combination of a traditional printed etching and mono print. First I drew the picture, scratched really, onto a steel plate, etched it in acid, inked it with printers ink, put it through a press to transfer the image onto paper. Loved creating it and the results makes me smile - twin Kev and me...

Nextchapter, Etsy artist, represents acorns in these striking earrings, perfect for fall. Thank you Common Ground for all your inspiration and for Inspiration Friday...
