Mom has turned 88 years old and it is time to celebrate. My mom is and has been my nurturer, friend, confidante, teacher and more.
So let me introduce you to a remarkable lady. Mom came from poverty and a family with 8 siblings. She became a wordly, confident, extremely intelligent woman. When she was still a young woman, she became a widow with twin children (me) and my 2 grown up sisters.

She helped in founding many local civic organizations such as the "The Mother of Twins". She also was a founder in bringing much needed medical services and clinics for woman to our area.

Mom is well read, well traveled, a painter, has written a short story, has a lovely singing voice, knits like no other, unbelievable seamstress (made all my gown and dresses), beautiful, stylish and an incredible MOM. So, thanks for reading.
