SUMMER DRIVE: TO PARIS?

drove around this morning looking for yard sales, and only found one! I have banned myself  from them this summer as I exhibit no self control,
ok- it is not my car...

well, more money to put away for my next trip to Paris,
ok, nothing in the works now- just dreaming...

Have a lovely weekend!

Paris Views

Can you see it, yes that tall thing?

Can you see it again? Right there above !
ummm..

Friends, I have to say how fortunate I am that have viewed
The Eiffel Tower in Paris
from below looking up
(pics from my Paris trip)

from the middle-
had this taken of me while going up the tower,
here almost midway...

and shot breathtaking views from

from the VERY TOP
of the Tower!

in all four directions...

I have even viewed it
lit up on a Saturday night from the balcony of my rented
PARIS APARTMENT!

but was I surprised when I saw it in
MY TEA CUP!

While sipping the last drop of my Earl Grey,
leisurely enjoying a pot of tea in the local cafe
I noticed
the tea leaves had formed the shape of the
Eiffel Tower
Can you see it?

Oh, good!
Merci

Paris Ruffles

Can one not dream of Paris under a bevy of pink ruffles?

I frequently envision a return trip to Paris,
including what clothes I will be dressed in…

Views of the city nestled under one’s head
Certainly leads to thoughts of travel during slumber…

Imagining attending a fashion show
in the fashion capitol of the world...

I think Krumpet might even be dreaming of Paris

Are You?

PARIS

If it must rain
then I must insist

to partake and
and to pretend

that I am in
PARIS...
raining day after day in New England,
hope you are taking your
barn and apple pics...

my Paris apartment

she looks out her 5th story apartment window and wonders if it is a dream. The gorgeous stone building sits directly across from the
Louvre.( the low wall in bottom left corner is actually the outer perimeter of the museum)
~
Facing left on her outside balcony she notices the only thing that separates her from the SEINE is a single street, which also runs along the LOUVRE. However did she manage to be in such a prime location in the 1 st arrondissement !
For two weeks she would enter this spectacular door and ascend to her dream escape, her rented apartment. For this short moment in time, she was a Parisian. She would shop at the markets, dine at the cafes and have the time of her life.
yes, she's me!
Oh, to choose to climb this grand staircase or indulge in a ride in the glass elevator. It would all depend on how many croissants I consumed (or glasses of wine)...
Once inside, I would revel in the designer decorated apartment, not to mention the view
out the window of the
Eiffel Tower and more...
Awaiting me were stacks of art books with an antique photograph of the building!
One last nightly panoramic view from my balcony.
Sweet dreams Paris,
I miss you...

Profusions of rain would not be so bad

were in Paris!

Work Space Wednesday II

Office / gallery/ studio = a wonderful workspace! Laptop and printers blend artfully with paintings, sculptures and antiques. Love the faux bois vase in the foreground holding a bevy of blueprints and the inspiration board with the Eiffel images, tre' chic! Gathered fabric in glass cabinets keep office necessities neatly out of site, a useful idea for any space..

"Rain Rain go away..."

" Rain rain go away and come again another day" or bring me to Paris so I can play in the puddles! Love it, don't you adore the square stone pattern?
