Airstream Travel

I keep day dreaming about traveling about the country in a vintage Airstream trailer. Of course, in this dream the inside is perfectly appointed to the era right down to the dishes, fabrics, linens and knickknacks. Always need knickknacks; or maybe I would pick them up along my travels. I envision dining at a boomerang patterned Formica table, the seat cushions covered in a mid century modern geometric barkcloth fabric while eating a casserole from turquoise melamine plates, the only decision that remains is where to travel first.....

I love you're description of exactly how the inside of this trailer should be, nothing less would do really would it. I think there is a company on the Isle of Wight UK who have a camp site specializing in these trailers with the interiors refurbished.

Hi If you ever travel to England Give me a look I have the most amazing project on the go which has resulted in me setting up English Interior courses charting historical interiors from mediaeval through georgian arts and crafts to present day.
I'm so excited the run through is in Oct and we go live in Feb.
The venue is the most exquisite English Country House which has been rarely seen by the public in Somerset.

I had that wonderful experience in my twenties, but unfortunately it included the in-laws and a screaming 1 year old. Hmmm...I think I like your dream better!
